As the global economy keeps chugging along nicely, it may be hard to remember that this cycle began nearly a decade ago. It may be even harder still to recall that emerging markets (EM) were in a recession just a little over two years ago. But now, the economic picture has improved and emerging markets are converging with developed markets, driving strong, synchronised economic growth and EM outperformance.
